Baby C

Baby C was just 8 days old when she came to visit. What a little sweetheart she is! She has beautiful dark eyes, which she let us see, and a bunch of dark hair. Her mama and daddy are obviously completely in love with her.

Welcome to the world little C. I'm glad you are here!

Baby S

It's been awhile since I have taken the time to post. I just had to share a sneak peak from today's session!

I got to spend my afternoon with sweet baby S and her Mom and Dad. Both are friends and Dad is a coworker of my husband. Little Baby S is just 11 days old and so bright eyed! I have never had a newborn make it through an entire session without snoozing. Until today. And it was mostly a happy and alert awake.

This truly has to be one of the most beautiful families. You meet those people that were just meant to be parents. These are some of those people. Parenthood most certainly becomes them!

Thanks for coming over today! I can't wait to see you again soon!!

Whirlwind Tour

I love this family. A lot! I taught with Mom, had both kids as students and enjoy spending time at church with the whole family! This is the third year I have been privileged to take their portraits and we had a blast! These kids (and Mom) are really up for anything. They wanted outdoor fall pictures, so outdoor we headed. We went to three different locations, pulled a wagon full of pumpkins, blankets, babies, corn and other goodies, climbed rocks, went bushwhacking, played in windows and generally had a wonderful time. Depsite the temperatures, we played too hard to get cold and when we were done, the kids were ready to head somewhere else for more! Did I mention that I love these guys? Here are just a few of the many great images we got!

R & A, thanks for coming out to play! I had a great time!!

Introducing...

Slideshows!

Being a mom AND a photographer, I understand all too well the desire to have ALL of the pictures of my child. However, I have lately realized (especially since I take too many pictures of my own child) that I don't want prints of all of them. I don't have room on my walls for framed prints nor space on my shelves for album to hold all of the pictures of my sweet child. I just want the option to be able to see them when I want to.

Out of this line of thought, I am now offering a new product! Custom slideshows! You get ALL, yep ALL of the images from your session arranged and set to music. You get a DVD to keep and watch whenever you want. You also get a flash file so that you can post your show on your blog, share it on facebook, or send it to grandparents, friends and family. How awesome is that?!

If your child goes through the Fleeting Moments Package, you can order a show with a few images from each session. Sort of a "Watch Me Grow Show"...

It could look something like this...

Little Beauty

There are few things more adorable in this world than a naked baby. Especially when said baby LOVES being naked!! I mean, really, when else in your life is it attractive to have rolls?? Fat baby legs have to be one of my favorite things. Gotta love 'em!

Graduation #1

It is hard to believe that it has already been a year since I met this beautiful, curly haired little lady. She is the first baby to "graduate" from Fleeting Moments- my baby plan. And man are those moments fleeting! The first time I met her she was 2 weeks old, still curled up and sleepy. At 6 months she was sitting pretty and smiling big. By 9 months she was very interactive and more mobile. Now she is a 1 year old with little curls who can stand, loves books, already says a few words and LOVES to babble! It's absolutely amazing!! Thank you Mama B, Daddy C and Baby Little girl H. for sharing your first year with me!
We ended our session with a "Cake Smash"! What fun that was. We all had a good laugh and little H had a blast with her cupcake!
Enjoy the Sneak Peak!!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Jared N.

A Fairy Tale:

Sarah, a great friend from college, met Jared, a man studying to be a Pastor. They saw parks, museums, enjoyed concerts, art, and exploring downtown areas. They grew closer and closer and more and more in love. Then one day, they were married. It was obviously a match made in heaven! And I know, they are a couple who will indeed live happily ever after.

After shooting their engagement session in an AMAZING train station in downtown Kansas City. I was privileged to capture their wedding day filled with smiles and tons of kisses!! These two never looked uncomfortable in front of the camera and their love was simply glowing!

This was my first wedding since having my daughter. I was so blessed to have a dear friend join in the festivities and care for my little girl. I was equally blessed to have another dear friend, who is an incredibly talented photographer, shoot with me.

Check out Tasha's gorgeous work at www.redwallphotography.com

We had so much fun that while my daughter crashed when we got back to our room, the three of us were up for several hours! It was a wonderful weekend!

Here are a very few of my favorites! Check the rest out here!!
